Have you thought about your threads?

Clothing is a basic necessity for most of us in the first-world. We have the privilege to select clothing that fits budget, function and fashion.

But what about the rest of the world?

Unfortunately, many manufacturing processes around the globe use child labor and sweatshop practices to keep costs low and revenues high.

Child laborers often have little choice in the matter, and work to support their families immediately instead of going to school to support their future.

Without any investment in their human capital, families and societies will forever be impoverished. Oftentimes, the immediate needs of the family and the incurred financial obligations of education outweigh a child’s chances of attending school.

Education is needed to advance. Knowledge IS power.

The mission of Thought Threads is simple: get more children into schools and off the streets. We want to give students and their families the tools and resources necessary to break the cycle of poverty and enrich their lives.

We seek to subsidize educational resources for third-world students by teaming up with aspiring streetwear brands to build awareness to our cause and raise funds through collaborative apparel sales.

The fabric of society isn’t woven with a single needle. It will take all of us, and we’d like your support.
